A. caucasica Buser in Bull. Herb. Boiss. 4:757 (1896).   Dwarf, with short, erect flowering stems up to 10 cm, clothed throughout with dense, soft, ± patent hairs; all pedicels densely erecto-patent-pubescent. Leaves 1.5-3 cm wide, reniform with open sinus; lobes rather wide, rounded, separated by toothless incisions; teeth of lobes ± equal, subacute. Fl. 6-7. Under Pinus, mountain slopes, 1665-2500 m.   Type: Caucasus, ditionis Kuban, in jugo Tieberdinski perival, inter flumina Tieberla et Do-ut, Sommier & Levier.   N. & N.E. Anatolia.
