  Type: [Turkey] B9 Van: d. Gevaş, Artos Da., 2590 m, D. 22741!
  S.E. Anatolia. B9 Bitlis: d. Tatvan, Karz Da., above Kotum, 1980 m, D. 22268! 15 km E of Tatvan, 1850 m, Rix 352! 353!
Endemic; Ir.-Tur. element. Related to A. karabaghensis, but distinguished by its densely hairy leaflets, etc. One of the specimens from nr. Tatvan (Rix 352) differs from the remainder in having a lax, elongate inflorescence and leaflets up to 16 mm long. This is considered to be no more than a shade form, especially since the other specimen from the same locality (Rix 353) resembles the remaining specimens in these respects.
