  Glabrous, prostrate, ascending or erect perennial. Stems branched, terete, finely ridged, 4-35 cm. Basal leaves soon withering, broadly triangular, 2-3-pinnate, 2-9x1-5-8 cm; ultimate segments linear, up to 10x2.5 mm. Upper cauline leaves few, 1-2-pinnate, with prominent sheadiing petioles. Rays 4-13, unequal, 30-50 mm. Bracts 0-4, 1.2-7 x 0.5-1.5 mm. Bracteoles 0-6, 1-3 xO-5 mm. Flowers white, 5-20 per umbeilule. Fruits oblong to oblong-elliptic, glabrous, 2-5-4-5 x 1-2 mm; styles 0.5-0.8 mm, spreading to deflexed: stylopodium conical. 1. A taller, sturdier plant than the type subspecies with longer pedicels and oblong or oblong-linear fruits.

  Caucasia. Ir.-Tur. element ? Some low-growing alpine forms of this subspecies closely approach subsp. microcarpum. They were recognized by Boissier (Fl. Or. 2:885, 1872) as var. huetii Boiss. and var. cataonicum Boiss.
