C. haussknechtii Boiss., Fl. Or. 3:670 (1875). Figure 21, p. 531. Similar to C. tomentella, but lower leaves lyrate with oblong terminal segment and 1-2 pairs of retrose lateral segments, median sessile or very shortly decurrent; appendages lanceolate with 7-9 cilia on each side (5-7 mm) and a (12-) 15-17 mm terminal spine. Flowers rose-purple. Fl. 6-7. Limestone grassland, c. 1070 m.   Lectotype: [Turkey C6 Gaziantep] in graminosis calcareis montis Ssoffdagh (Sof Da.) Syriae borealis, 1070 m, 27 vi 1865, Haussknecht (G! iso. G! JE! W!).   S. Anatolia. C6 Gaziantep: nr Gaziantep, 27 vii 1907, Maniss.!   Endemic. Allied to the two previous species.
