Endemic; Ir.-Tur. element. New material from several parts of S. Anatolia shows morphological overlap with the type specimen of D. reesei Hub.-Mor. from C3 Afyon, which must probably be regarded synonymous. The specimen cited from C6 Maraş (Stn. & Hend. 5534) is remarkable in having the heads made up of 2-3 closely superimposed whorls.
