  Glabrous perennial. Stem terete, superficially sulcate, glaucous, more than 100 cm tall. Basal leaves 6-7-pinnate, triangular-ovate in outline, 30-35 x 25 cm, glabrous, glaucous; ultimate segments finely setaceous, 1.5-3(-4) x0.2 mm. Sheaths broadly inflated, amplexicaul, coriaceous, ovate, 8-14 cm. Inflorescence paniculate-corymbose; central umbels sessile or short-peduncled, rays 7-14, 1-2 cm, laterals ascending; umbellules 7-15-flowered, pedicels 5-8 mm; bracteoles minute, inconspicuous. Sepals obsolete. Mericarps (immature) obovate-oblong, dorsal vittae solitary per vallecula, commissural 2. Fl. 6-7. In mixed forest, 1600-1650 m.
  Type: Turkey. C6 Adana: distr. Osmaniye, N. Amanus, Yağlipinar ob Yarpuz, Pinus pallasiana-Fagus orientalis-Cedrus Mischwald, 1600-1650 m, 1 vii 1959, Huber-Morath 15437 (holo. Hb. Hub.-Mor.!).
  Endemic and only known from the type gathering. E. Medit. element. Related to F. elaeochytris from which it is easily distinguished by its glabrous leaf lobes. Also allied to F. hermonis Boiss. which differs in its whitish flowers, less conferted and thicker leaf lobes, and usually fertile lateral umbels.
