G. libanotica Boiss., Diagn. ser. 1(9):3 (1849). Ic: Boul., F1. Lib. Syr. t. 104 (1930).   Low shrub 10-20 cm, with rather compact branching, young twigs with sparse, ± adpressed hairs. Leaves 3-10 x2-3 mm, narrowly elliptic, with sparse, ± adpressed hairs, especially beneath. Flowers in short racemes of 2-6. Bracts subfoliaceous; pedicels 1-2 mm; bracteoles 1 mm or less, linear. Calyx c. 4 mm, sparsely hairy. Corolla glabrous; standard c. 9 mm, ovate. Legume narrowly oblong, finally glabrous but with the ovary sometimes sparsely hairy. Fl. 5-6.
