Leaves 3-4; lamina 2.5-4(-8) mm broad, glaucous, veins irregularly spaced. Spike 3-4(-5)-flowered, lax, not markedly secund. Perianth mauve-Tpurple; tube slightly curved, posterior 8.5-12 mm, anterior 11-13(-20) mm; upper segments elliptic or elliptic-oblong, scarcely clawed, subacute, median (16-)25-28 x 9-12 mm, lateral (12-)22-24 x (3-)4.5-7(-l2) mm; lower segments spathulate, long-clawed (to 2/3-3/4 x total length of segment), obtuse or apiculate, median 12-21 x 4(-ll) mm, lateral 13-24 x (2-)4.5(-10)mm, lateral segments not overlapping. Anthers 8-10 mm, filaments 10-14 mm. Style to 3 cm, with unequal stigmas 1.8 and 2.5 mm. Capsule ellipsoid;seeds unwinged. 2n = 60. F1. 3-5.
