Map 71, p. 339.   Distinguished from L. spathulatus by its constantly 1-paired and usually longer (70-135 mm) leaflets, longer (5-15 cm), 6-20-flowered racemes, calyx with longer and more slender teeth (lowest tooth lanceolate-subulate, as long as or slightly longer than tube), and slightly shorter style (4-4.5 mm). Fl. 4-5. Woodlands, tnacchie, phrygana, 350-1520 m.   Type: [Turkey C5] Cilicia, Im Gebirge bei Mersina, Balansa.   S. Anatolia (Cilician Taurus to Kurt Da.). C5 Içel: nr. The unijugate leaflets were not mentioned in the original description of this taxon. Very close to L. spathulatus.
