  W. Syria. E. Medit. element. Mindium isauricum Contandr. et al. in Ann. Univ. Provence, Sci. 46:55 (1971), described from Ermenek, differs only in its smaller leaves and flowers. It is probably only a dwarf form of M. campanuloides. In general plants of M. campanuloides from the western part of S. Anatolia seem to have smaller flowers than further east.
