Perennial, glandular-hairy, stems erect to ascending-erect, single or ± numerous, 5-30 cm. Leaves trifoliolate; leaflets denticulate, suborbicular to oblong, 4-13 x 2-8 mm. Flowers axillary, overtopped by floral leaves, forming dense terminal racemes. Calyx campanulate, 6-11 mm, divided to ¾-4/5 into ovate-lanceolate to lanceolate long acuminate lobes. Corolla yellow, 5-12 mm. Legume ovate-rhomboid, 4-9 x 3.5-5.5 mm, glandular-hairy, 3-5-ovulate. Seeds orbicular, 2 mm, slightly tubercled. Fl. 5-7.
