P. angustifolia DC, Syst. 2: 329 (1821). Figure 13, p. 257. Annual herb, smelling of garlic. Stems erect, glabrous. Lower leaves elliptic to narrowly elliptic to oblong, serrate, petiolate. Upper leaves similar but sessile; all with a sparse indumentum of bifid hairs along the main veins beneath. Sepals not saccate, forming a cup-shaped calyx. Petals white. Siliculae pendant, in-dehiscent, very flat, papery, oval-orbicular, with a broad wing. Fl. 4-7. Galleys, rocky slopes, cultivated ground, 670-1900 m.
