Glabrous perennial with spreading-erect branched striate stems, 8-35 cm. Basal leaves broad-triangular, 6-10x3-11 cm, 2-3-pinnate; ultimate segments ovate, pinnatifid or lobed, 9x5 mm; petiole shorter than rachis. Cauline leaves few, 1-2-pinnate with linear ultimate segments and broadly sheathed petioles. Rays 3-11, unequal, 3-70 mm. Bracts 0-5, up to c. 5 0.5 mm. Bracteoles 3-9, c. 4x0.5 mm. Flowers white, c. 7-15 per umbellule. Fruits oblong-cylindrical, glabrous, c. 4 mm; styles c. 1 mm; stylopodium flat. Type: [N. Iran] in monte Elbruz prope Derbent, Kotschy 118. A9 Kars: W. of Kağızman (Grossheim 7: map 86). Soviet Armenia, Iran, Afghanistan, W. Pakistan, Turkestan. Ir.-Tur. element. No specimens from Turkey have been examined. |
