Cauline leaves 1-2-pinnate. Umbels 6-20-rayed; bracts 2-10, linear-lanceolate; bracteoles linear, ± equalling pedicels. Flowers white, 8-25 per umbellule. Fruit 3.5-5 mm, ovoid-oblong, glabrous; stylopodium depressed. 1. Rays 6-10: 8-15 flowers per umbellule var. cruciata 1. Rays 12-20; 15-25 flowers per umbellule var. anthriscoides var, anthriscoides.
