A. armeniaca Freyn & Sint. in Bull. Herb. Boiss. 3:348 (1895). Figure 10, p. 183. Similar to A. sintenisii and possibly only a subspecies of it. Leaves somewhat larger, 2.5-4 cm, lobes 4-8 x 1-1.5 mm, spathulate. Involucre 1-1.5 cm broad. Ray flowers 15-20; ligules 6-10 mm. Achenes 2.25-2.5 mm, squarish in section, indistinctly ribbed, weakly tuberculate and usually punctate; auricles 0.25-0.5 mm, margin entire or crenate. Fl. 5-6. Fields, steppe and sandy mountain slopes, 1100-1800 m. Type: [Turkey A7] Gümüschkane: in montibus arenosis ad Aghaköi (nr Sorda), 26 vi 1894, Sintenis 5673 (iso. BM! E! K! LD!). Inner Anatolia.
