A. triumfettii (L.) All., Fl. Pedem. 1:187 (1785). Syn: A. tinctoria var. triumfettii L., Sp. Pl. 896 (1753) as 'triumfelti'; A. rigescens Willd., Hort. Figure 10, p. 183.Similar to A. tinctoria but generally about 60 cm and branched fastigiately above. Leaves longer (3-4 cm) with flat, not infolded segments. Involucre 1.5-1.8 cm broad; inner phyllaries sometimes distinctly dark-margined. Ligules white, 1-1.8 cm. Fl. 6-9. Rocky slopes and meadows sometimes in coniferous wood-land, 300-2200 m.
