T. uniflorum (Fisch. & Mey.) Schultz Bip., Tanacet. 48 (1844). Syn: Pyreth-rum uniflorum Fisch. & Mey. ex DC, Prodr. 6:60 (1838). Figure 13, p. 265. Suffrutescent herb. Stems several, leafy, 35-45 cm, shortly adpressed-pubescent, becoming woody and twiggy at base. Basal leaves 9-12 cm (incl. 3-5 cm petiole), 2-pinnatisect, ± elliptic in outline, primary segments 10-12, rather distant, 0.5-1.25 cm, secondary segments 3-5, linear, 0.75-2 mm long, acute; cauline leaves similar though less regularly divided, 4-8 mm, sessile, primary segments 4-8, usually with short (1-4 mm) linear lobes on rachis between them. Capitula solitary on each flowering stem. Involucre 1-1.5 cm broad; outer phyllaries 3.5-4 x 2-2.5 mm, brown-margined, inner oblong, 7-8 x 2-2.5 mm, with pale scarious margins. Radiate flowers c. 20, yellow; ligules 7.5-10 mm. Disc flowers 3 mm. Achenes 3 mm, 10-ribbed; corona uneven, 0.5 mm. Fl. 5-6. On steppe and rocky slopes, 1700-2440 m. Type: [N.W.
