N. anchusoides Boiss. & Buhse in Mem. Soc. Nat. Mosc. 18:152 (1846). Figure 15, p. 405. Hispid-setose perennial. Stems 20-40 cm, densely leafy. Cauline leaves linear-lanceolate, acute, 2-8x0.3-1.2 cm, semi-amplexicaul. Calyx bluish-tinged, 4-6 mm, divided to c. 1/3, lobes lanceolate; fruiting calyx 7-9 mm. Corolla bluish-violet to dull pink, 8-12 mm, infundibular, limb as long as tube, erecto-patent, 5-8 mm diam.; scales and throat long-hairy, hairs forming a wavy line in throat; annulus glabrous. Anthers 1.5 mm. Nutlets transversely ovoid, 2.5x4.5 mm, puberulent, greyish-brown, reticulate-rugose, tuberculate, beak lateral, somewhat elongated, basal ring with 8-16 teeth. Fl. 5-6.
