O. proballantherum Rech. fil. in Ann. Naturh. Mus. Wien 55:8 (1947). Perennial. Stems several, 20-30 cm, erect, branched, patent-setose. Basal leaves unknown. Cauline leaves 40-50 mm, oblong-linear, lower and median subspathu-late, uppermost lanceolate," all acute, pilose and with patent to subadpressed setae borne on small tubercles, more densely setose above than beneath. Inflorescence of 2-6 cymes clustered near apex of stem. Bracts linear-lanceolate. Pedicels 2-3 mm. Calyx 8-10 mm, lobes lanceolate, connate at base, whitish-setose. Corolla yellowish, 10-15 mm, ± cylindrical, glabrous except on minute, erect lobes. Anthers 3 mm, exserted for more than 1/2 their length, free or coherent at base. Nutlets unknown. Fl. 6-8. Alt. 1850-2600 m. Type: [Turkey B9 Siirt/Van] Kurdistan, Südseite des Passes Aghzi Gedik, 10 km nördlich von Mukus (Müküs), 2600 m, 24 vi 1939, Frödin 148 (holo. W! iso. UPS). S.W. Anatolia. B9 Bitlis: Nemrut Da., 1850 m, Tatli 473(!) 561(!). Endemic. Ir.-Tur. element. |
