A. hirsuta Scop., Fl. Cam. 2: 30 (1772). I?: Reichb., Ic. Fl. Germ. 2: t. 41, f. 4342 (1837-38). Perennial herb. Stems pilose, simple, erect, 20-40 cm. Basal leaves oblong-obovate, entire to dentate; stem leaves lanceolate, cordate at the base, auriculate, ± strict and overlapping. Flowering inflorescence corymbose. Petals white, occasionally pinkish, 4-5 mm. Siliquae strict, stiff, up to 65 x 1.5 mm. Described from Carniola (Slovenija, Jugoslavia). Bithynia. A2 Bilecik: Bilecik to Pazaryeri, 500 m, D. 36451! Europe, Siberia, Caucasia, N. Iran, N. Iraq, N.W. Africa. A mainly European species, which is largely replaced in Turkey by A. sagittata and A. abietina (q.v.), with which it has previously been confused. |
