E. hamosum Blanche ex Post, Fl. Syr. 75 (1896). Perennial herb, not or little tufted. Stems 5-15(-20) cm, ascending to erect, canescent with bifid hairs. Leaves linear-oblanceolate, the lower often acutely toothed, canescent with an indumentum.of 2-fid hairs. Pedicels 1-2 mm in flower. Sepals saccate, 6-7 mm, occasionally somewhat bluish. Petals pale yellow to yellow, 11-12 mm. Pedicels in fruit 2-4 mm. Siliquae spreading, terete or some-what compressed, canescent with 2-fid hairs, 15-20 mm. Style 2-4 mm. Fl. 4-5.
