Leaves thin, varying from glabrous (in type) to hirsute-pubescent, glaucescent when dry: basal leaves obovate-oblong, subentire; median stem leaves narrowly oblong, rather shortly and obtusely auricled. Flowers 3-4 mm, sepals sparsely pilose. Fruit elliptic-oblong, (7-)9-15 × 3-4 mm, shortly attenuate below, apex rounded, glabrous or shortly velutinous at the loculus, wing thick, usually narrower than loculus, mid-rib slender. Fl. 6-7.
