N. paniculata (L.) Desv. in J. Bot. Appl. 3: 162 (1814). Syn: Myagrum pani-culatum L., Sp. PI. 641 (1753); Vogelia paniculata Hornem., Hort. Hafn. 2: 594 (1815). Ic.: Vierhapper, op, cit., f. Figure 11, p. 253. Annual, 15-60 cm, sub-simple or branching above middle. Leaves oblong or oblong-lanceolate, clasping, sagittate, acute at apex, margins entire or toothed. Petals c. 2 mm. Fruiting pedicels 6-12 mm. Fruit 2-2.5 x 2.5-3 mm, without an umbo after the style has fallen. Fl. 4-7. Fields, roadsides, rocky slopes. Described from Europe (Hb.'Linn. 819/10 photo.!). Armenia.
