N. Iraq, N.W., W. & C. Iran. Ir.-Tur. element. C. cecilii is identical with C. reuterana. The 'diagnostic' character concerning the shape of calyx lobes is not constant. In some plants the calyx lobes are both lanceolate, acuminate and also tongue-shaped and acute. A correlation evidently exists between the shape of the calyx lobes and the age of the flowers.
