A. angustisepala McNeill in Notes R.B.G. Edinb. 23: 510 t. 20 (1961). Tufted, almost cushion-forming, puberuient to glandular-pubescent perennial, 4-8 cm. Leaves 5-10 mm, setaceous, apiculate. Inflorescence 1-2-flowered; bracts 5-10 mm. Sepals 5•5-8 mm, lanceolate (or the inner ovate), acute, scarious except for the 1-veined keel extending to the apex. Petals obovate to spathulate, trun-cate, 1•25-1•5 x longer than sepals. Staminal glands 5, minute, flap-like.
