G. adenophylla Bark. in Wentia 9: 59, t. 1 f. 34-40 (1962). Perennial with woody rhizome, cushion-shaped, glandular-pubescent, stems up to 4 cm, (l-)3-7-flowered. Leaves linear to linear-lanceolate, fleshy, mucronate, 2-10 x 0.5-1.5 mm. Calyx 3-5-5 mm, teeth acuminate. Petals pink, broadly cuneate, bilobed or emarginate, 8-10 mm. Fl. 7-8.
