Like G. paniculata but entirely glabrous, leaves bright green, often longer (50-60 x 3-18 mm), inflorescence denser, calyx teeth orbicular-cordate, imbricate, denticulate at margin. Fl. 5-7. Steppe, fallow fields, 1200-1700 m. Type: [U.S.S.R.] regio Transcaspica, Aschabad, in planitie ad Nephton, 26 v 1900, Sintenis 423 (holo. W! iso. E! G!). A8 Çoruh: Lomaschen nr.
