Leaves greyish, puberulous, the lower leaves linear-oblanceolate, c. 13 x 2 mm. the caulme leaves linear-oblanceolate to lanceolate, about the same size as the basal leaves. Flowers solitary (rarely 2 together). Calyx 13-16 mm, reticulately veined, somewhat inflated in fruit, glanduJar-puberulent. Petals white, the limb bipartite. Anthophore 6-9 mm, puberulent. Capsule narrowly ovoid, included in the calyx. Fl 7-8. Rocky slopes and screes, 3500-4000 m.
