P. kurdicus Vatke in Linnaea 38:734 (1874). Much-branched perennial, woody at the base. Leaves glabrous, puberulent or glandular-pubescent; lower with long petiole, oblong, sometimes lyrate, crenate or dentate; upper linear, entire. Involucral bracts lanceolate, subacuminate, shorter than flowers. Corolla 8-12 mm, pink. Involucel hairy; corona very short, crenate. Calyx shortly stipitate, setae 16-22, 9-10 mm long. 1.
