P. szovitsii Boiss., Fl. Or. 3:150 (1875). Slender, many-stemmed, glandular-pubescent perennial up to 40 cm. Lower leaves petiolate, ovate, sometimes lyrate, crenate-dentate; upper leaves sessile, lanceolate to linear, entire or dentate. Involucral bracts 6-8(-10) mm, lanceolate, acuminate, shorter than flowers. Corolla 10-14 mm, white or pink. Involucel 4-4•5 mm, glandular-pilose, corona minutely dentate. Calyx 10-12 mm with (14-)19-24 setae. Fl. 6-8. Dry hills and rocky slopes, 900-1850 m. Type: [Caucasia] in Prov. Aderbidjan, Szovits (iso. K!). S.E. Anatolia.
