A. gymnalopecias Rech. fil. in Öst. Bot. Zeitschr. 95:422 (1949). Tall erect caulescent perennial; stems glabrous. Leaves 9-20 cm; leaflets 15-40 mm, narrowly elliptic, acute, glabrous, 11-14-paired; stipules 15-20 mm, linear-lanceolate, glabrous. Inflorescence sessile, c. 4 cm in diam., globose, dense, with 15-25 subsessile flowers. Bracts 3-4 mm, linear, ciliate. Bracteoles 1-1•5 mm, linear, ciliate. Calyx 9-12 mm, tubular, ± glabrous or with a few long hairs, especially at the margin, teeth 1•5-3 mm. Corolla yellow; standard 18-20 mm. Young legume pilose with long beak. Fl. 6. Upland districts, c. 1900 m. Type: [Turkey B9 Bitlis] Kurdistan; Delan Dere, 11 km von Mukus, 1900 m, 22 vi 1939, Frödin 318 (holo. UPS!). Endemic; Ir.-Tur. element. Only known from the type.
