A. micracme Boiss. & Noë in Boiss., Diagn. ser. 2(5): 87 (1856). Dwarf cushion-forming shrub with short stems. Leaves up to 3 cm; rachis spiny; leaflets obovate, retuse, both surfaces densely simple-long-pilose, 7-9-paired; stipules 3-5 mm, triangular, membranous, united at base. Flowers sub-pedicellate in a dense 3-6-flowered raceme. Bracts 3-4 mm, lanceolate. Bracteoles 1-1•5 mm, lanceolate. Calyx 12-14 mm, tubular at first, becoming inflated, densely long simple-white-pilose; teeth 2-3 mm. Corolla pinkish; standard 18-21 mm, lamina oblong-retuse, without basal auricles. Legumes very shortly stipitate, ovoid-globose, subcompressed, hairy. Fl. 6. Syntypes: [Soviet Armenia/Turkey A9 Kars] inter Erivan et Kars, Rauwolf; [Turkey B9 Van] in subalpinis prope Van Armeniae, Noë 173 (G!). Iran, Soviet Armenia. |
