T. monantha C. A. Meyer, Verz. Pfl. Cauc. 137 (1831). Adpressed-pubescent, branched from base; stems prostrate-ascending, 5-30 cm. Stipules semisagittate denticulate. Leaflets oblong to cordate-cuneate, dentate, incised or pinnatifid, 5-12 x 3-8 mm. Peduncle 0(-4) mm. Flowers 1-3 in the leaf-axils. Calyx campanulate, 5-6 mm; teeth lanceolate-acuminate, about as long as tube. Corolla yellow, 6-8 mm. Legumes erect-spreading, curved, somewhat compressed, 4-10 x 0.1-0.2 cm, lengthwise reticulate-netted, with linear to oblong areoles, many-seeded. Seeds oblong-cylindrical, 2-2.5 x 1 mm, tubercled. 1. Legumes single or rarely two together, reticulate-netted with narrow, linear areoles subsp. monantha 1.
