Basal leaves orbicular to broadly elliptic, petiolate, lamina 6-18 x 5-17 cm, coarsely crenate-dentate, veins impressed on upper surface, lower surface thickly lanate; cauline similar, sessile. Calyx broadly campanulate-rotate, sparsely pubescent, limb 2-2.5 cm diam. at anthesis, accrescent to 4 cm diam. in fruit, reticulate-veined, membranous. Corolla pale lemon-yellow with orange-yellow to buff-orange lower lip, 18-30 mm; hood pubescent to villous outside, whitish-bearded within; lower lip with triangular-cordate middle lobe and ovate-elliptic lateral lobes.
