Bulb with reddish-brown tunics and 1-2 smaller bulblets, without recurved thickened roots. Basal leaf 1, linear, 10-22 x 0.3-0.4 cm, flat. Inflorescence umbellate, 6-10 cm. Cauline leaves 2, unequal, opposite, larger one to 5 mm broad, longer than pedicels, both subtending umbel, ciliate, especially at base Flowers 2-8. Pedicels equal at flowering time, 20-45 mm, deflexed in fruit, glabrous, flowers remaining erect. Perianth segments yellowish inside, greenish outside, narrowly oblanceoiate, (9-)12-18 mm, obtuse, inner ones broadly hyaline. Capsule ovoid. Fl. 5. Shady rocks, c. 1800 m.
