H. pendulum L., Sp. PL, 124 (1753). Syn: H. caucasicum Koch ex Ledeb., Fl. Ross., 1:94(1842). Stems ascending to erect, up to 30 cm. Leaves pinnatisect, the segments linear-setaceous. Sepals ovate. Petals pale yellow, the two exterior petals entire, oval-rhomboid. Fruit pendulous, borne on a short, recurved pedicel, straight, attenuate at apex, weakly striate, not breaking into 1-seeded parts. Fl. 4-6. Fallow fields, cultivated land, 400-1700 m. Described from Provence, France (Hb. Linn. 171/4!). Widespread. A1(A) Çanakkale: Troas, Sint. 1883:38!
