P. rhopalothece Stapf in Denk. Akad. Wiss. Wien, Math.-Nat. Kl. 51: 359 (1886). Annual. Stems ± prostrate at the base, spreading-setulose, 30-35 cm. Leaves sublyrate-pinnatifid. Peduncles sparsely setose. Petals broadly obovate, pale purple. Capsule elongate-clavate, c. 3 x as long as broad. Disc flat. Stigmas 7-9. Type: Lycia, Gjölbaschi, 1882, Luschan (WU). Iran ? A doubtful species, perhaps only a variant of P. dubium. |
