C. polypetala Hochst. ex Lorent, Wanderungen 339 (1845). Ic.: Fl. Armenia 1: t. 34 (1954). Stems hollow, glabrous, erect. Leaves dentate, ovate-orbicular, cordate, usually with the sinus closed by the overlapping bases of the lamina. Perianth segments yellow to golden yellow, 7-9, rather variable in shape, elliptic to ovate to obovate, 18-23 mm. Follicles greenish, 12-16 mm, beaked, the beak 1-4 mm. Fl. 4-7.
