R. diversifolius Boiss. & Kotschy in Boiss., Fl. Or. 1: 45 (1867), non Gilib. (invalid). Figures 4, 5, pp. 157, 173. Perennial, 10-60 cm, green or glaucous, adpressed pilose or glabrescent. Rhizome horizontal, ± hairy. Stem 1-several-flowered. Radical leaves trisect, the terminal segment sessile or long-stalked, shortly trifid to deeply tripartite, the segment or its lobes obovate-cuneate, incised-serrate at least above; lateral segments bilobed, serrate above. Upper stem leaves deeply partite into lanceolate segments. Sepals spreading. Petals 10-15 mm. Achenes semicircular, compressed, c. 4 mm, pilose or glabrous, with a prominent nerve parallel to the adaxial margin; beak slender, uncinate-circinate, 1.5-2 mm. Fl. 6-9. Rocky limestone slopes, 2250-3100 m. Type: [Turkey B9 Siirt] in humidis alpinis Armeniae Kurdicae ad Chana Putkie prope Müküs, 2400 m, Kotschy 739 (G!). Kurdistan.
