T. flavum L., Sp. PL 546 (1753). Ic.: Ross-Craig, Draw. Brit. PL 1: t. 6 (1948). Glabrous or hairy herb with long rhizomes. Stems erect, up to 100 cm. Leaves oblong, the lateral divisions shorter than the middle division. Ultimate segments of the median leaves broadly obovate-cuneate, trifid at the apex, more than 10 mm broad. Inflorescence lax to somewhat lax. Achenes ovoid, ribbed. Fl. 6-7. Shady places, marshes, s.l.-1400 m. Described from Europe (Hb. Linn. 713/21 photo.!). Scattered.
