Unarmed shrub or tree; young shoots glabrous. Leaves elliptic, up to 4 x 2 cm, finely glandular-crenate, glabrous above, with a few adpressed silvery hairs beneath, subcoriaceous; petioles up to 5 mm. Flowers unknown. Drupe broadly ovoid to narrowly ovate and compressed, up to 30 x 20 mm, sessile, shortly velutinous; stone pitted. Upland districts, 1000-2500 m.
