L. anatolicum A.Baytop & R.Mill in Notes R.B.G. Edinb. 35:313 (1977). Shrub 1-2 m. Branches greyish, rigid, spines stout. Leaves narrowly elliptic to
oblanceolate, subacute, 1-5 x0.l-0.5(-0.8) cm, attenuate at base. Clusters 1-5-flowered. Peduncles 2-18 mm. Calyx campanulate, two-lobed, 2.5-3.5 mm. Corolla 9-12 mm, corolla tube 6-8 mm, lower part narrowly cylindrical to 5 mm, lobes patent to reflexed, 3-4 mm, margins sparsely to moderately ciliate. Filaments hairy at base, on free part of adaxial face, corolla throat glabrous or with very few hairs at base of filaments. Berry dark reddish brown, globose, 3-4 mm. Fl. 4-11.
